La Junta Senior Golf Results April 22, 2025
 
The 2025 La Junta Senior Golf League season began with 43 senior golfers participating on a beautiful spring day.  The group was broken up into nine teams: seven teams of 5 players and two teams of 4 players to play scramble golf. The challenge chip was on hole #6, but no one was able to make the shot.  Those making the challenge putt on hole #3 were Keith Waggoner, Ross Bender, and Mike Stokes.

The golf course has requested a change: all golfers must sign in at the starter shack, regardless of membership, punch card, or green fees.  Therefore, sign up with the senior league and also the starter shack.

1st place: Score of 28

Next Tuesday, April 29, we will be playing a ball toss game along with the scramble golf.  Registration will be 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. Teams are picked at 9:45 and no players can be added after that.  Call 719-469-0691 if you are going to be late for registration but will be in time to tee off.  Play will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m.
