Multi-Fatal Crash on Weld County Road 80

(WELD COUNTY, COLO) - On July 25, 2026, at approximately 5:18 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on Weld County Road 80 at Weld County Road 39, east of Ault, CO.

A 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling at a high rate of speed on westbound Weld County Road 80 at Weld County Road 39 and veered off the right side of the road, lost control, came back on the road, and rolled several times. All occupants were ejected.

The 20-year-old male driver was transported to a local area hospital by air with critical injuries.

Three male occupants were pronounced dead on scene. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Weld County Coroner once next of kin has been notified.

One male occupant was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries.

The Colorado State Patrol Vehicular Crimes Unit is the lead agency for the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
