Fatal Crash Closes Highway 93 near Arvada

(Jefferson County, COLO) – Today, April 21, 2026, at about 3:48 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol responded to the area of Highway 93 northbound near milepost 4, west of Arvada, for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

The initial investigation shows that a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided on the highway, causing the northbound lanes to be blocked. The driver of the motorcycle, a 55-year-old male, was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
