Bridge inspection on US 24 at Manitou Springs
Travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Monday, April 20
El Paso County — The Colorado Department of Transportation Bridge Maintenance Team will perform bridge inspection work on US Highway 24 at Mile Point 297.7 over Canon Avenue in Manitou Springs on Monday, April 20. Motorists can expect delays on US 24 as travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Traffic Impacts
On Monday, April 20, motorists will encounter road work at on US 24 at Manitou Springs. Traffic impacts will include:
- Working hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 20.
- East- and westbound travel on US 24 will be reduced to one lane. Traffic delays of up to 15 minutes should be expected.
- Canon Avenue will be closed intermittently by flaggers during periods of active work.
- Motorists should slow down as they approach the work zones, drive with caution, allow extra space between vehicles, and give themselves extra travel time.
