Obituary

A private family service for longtime Frances Lucille Kelley, affectionately known to her family and friends as Lucille, will be held at a later date.

Frances Lucille Kelly was born on August 16, 1952 to Carl Almon and Laura Marie (Brown) Selby in Tribune, Kansas and passed away on March 22, 2026 at her family home in Wiley, CO with her family by her side at the age of 73.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Verndean Selby, and her sister, Nevelda (Selby) Blodgett.

Lucille is survived by her husband, Boyce Wade Kelly of the family home in Wiley, her children, Cynthia (Andrew) Kline of Ramah, CO and Tammy (Daniel) Smith of Wiley, CO, her 5 grandchildren: Shayla (Cody) Fry of Eads, CO; Cody (Andi) Fagan of Walsh, CO; Colten (Shannon) Fagan of Denver, CO, Brittanie (Trice) Watts of Tribune, KS and Dustyn Newman of Wiley, CO. She is also survived by 9 great- grandchildren: Tucker Fry, Ellie Fagan, Keilee Fagan, Gabe Fagan, Carson Fagan, Olivia Fry, Kase Fagan, Cora Fagan, and Bjorn Fagan.

She will also be missed by her surviving siblings – Carol (Dean) Grauberger, Donford (Vera) Selby, Bertha (Eddie) Ritter, Barbara (Jimmy) Fuller along with many nieces, nephews and other loved family members.
