Rocky Ford Police Warn of Vehicle Trespasses, Urge Residents to Lock Cars and Remove Valuables

The Rocky Ford Police Department has been receiving reports of vehicle trespasses (people entering locked or unlocked cars) and stealing items inside. 

To help protect your property:

1. Remove or conceal items of value.

2. Lock all doors and close all windows.

3. Consider using a car alarm.

4. Don't leave keys in the vehicle.

5. Consider putting up cameras on your property to capture any images of suspects. 

6. Watch out for your neighbors. If something doesn't look right, let them know and/or report it to us.

If someone does get into your vehicle, please report it immediately. Please try not to touch anything so we can try to find and collect evidence.
