La Junta Communication Center to Transition from Longtime Facility on January 15, 2026

On January 15th, 2026, the La Junta Communication Center will close its doors at this location for the final time.

This building has been home to countless voices of calm in moments of fear, dedication during long nights, and unwavering commitment to our community. While we prepare to relocate, we honor the memories, teamworks, and lives touched within these walls.

Though the location is changing, our mission never will. Emergency services will continue without interruption, and the same dedicated professionals will still be there when you need them most.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this chapter, this is not goodbye— just a new beginning.
