Obituary

Jean Carol Armstrong, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025 in Pueblo, CO at the age of 74.

Born on August 2, 1951 in Salisbury, NC. Jean grew up in La Junta, CO and was a proud graduate of La Junta High School, class of 1969. 

On April 27, 1974, Jean was united in marriage to Ron Armstrong. Throughout their 51 years of marriage, they welcomed and raised their two children, Chris and Amber in La Junta, CO. They spent their retirement years in Pueblo, CO. 

Jean enjoyed sewing, quilting, crochet, spending time with her grandchildren, riding motorcycles and traveling around Colorado and viewing the Rocky Mountains. 

Preceded in death by son, Chris Armstrong, parents, Richard and Betty Lou McIntyre, and sister Betty Jane McIntyre. 

Survived by husband, Ron Armstrong of Pueblo, CO, daughter, Amber (Justin) McKinney of Pueblo, CO, 3 grandchildren, Braxton Dutton of Pueblo, CO, Landry McKinney of Pueblo, CO, and Maddox McKinney of Pueblo, CO. She is also survived by her sisters, Debbie McIntyre, JoAnne McIntyre, Laurie (Kenny) Pearson, brother, Richard (Shelly) McIntyre as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
