Rural Outbuilding Fire Quickly Extinguished Near CR 20.75 and CR FF.5, No Injuries Reported
Today at approximately 12:50pm we were paged to a rural fire of an outbuilding in the area of CR 20.75 and CR FF.5. Upon arrival outbuilding(shed) was fully engulfed in flames. A fifth wheel camper that was unoccupied recieved fire exposure damage to the rear of the camper. Fire attack was rapid and aggressive by fire personnel extinguishing the fire quickly.
A huge shoutout to HC Construction who assisted the Fire department with a mini excavator during overhaul operations.
Cause of fire undetermined although origin appeared to be stemmed from the location of some burn barrels. There were no injuries to report and damages were estimated to be in the vicinity of $5,000. All units cleared at 3:00pm.
