*CSP Call on Suspected Drunk Driver Leads to Pursuit

Southbound Interstate 25 is now open

(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO) - This evening, November 20, 2025, around 7:31 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol responded to a *CSP call on a REDDI (Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately) involving a red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck on Interstate 25 just north of Second Street.

The Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck was located and pursued by the Colorado State Patrol after the driver refused to stop. During the pursuit, the suspect rammed two Patrol vehicles, causing damage. In order to bring the vehicle to a stop and protect the motoring public, troopers conducted a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI).

No troopers were injured in the incident.

After a short standoff, the driver, identified as Dean Moore (60), out of Colorado Springs, was taken into custody and transported to a local area hospital to be assessed for injuries.
