La Junta Senior Golf League Results: September 23, 2025

The La Junta Senior Golf League turned the La Junta Golf Course into a par 3 on Tuesday. Thirty-eight golfers participated. Cathy Bollacker, Matt Perea, and Jay Bollacker made the challenge putt on hole #6, but no one made the challenge chip on hole #3. In addition, there was a bucket chipping and throwing game on the practice green, but none of the golfers were able to put the ball in one of the buckets.

There have been questions about how long we are going to play. If the weather holds out, the last game of the season will be October 21.

The golf league will meet again next week for a 9-hole scramble game. Registration will be open from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., with teams being picked at 8:45 a.m. No players can be added after this time. Play is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
