Multiple Agencies Fight Lithium Battery Fire at Semi Rollover on Hwy 10 in Otero County

Colorado State Patrol Reports CO Hwy 10 has been Closed West of Rocky Ford due to a Semi Truck Rollover Crash.

The driver has minor injuries, according to the Colorado State Patrol Public Information Officer.

Multiple Agencies Responded to a Large Lithium Battery Fire that Occurred during the Rollover Crash.

Rocky Ford Fire, Manzanola Volunteer Fire Department, Fowler Rural Fire Protection District, La Junta Fire Department and Colorado State Patrol, and Hazmat Responded to the Incident.

CDOT was on scene at the road  closure and Hwy 10 was reopened at 7:45PM.
