It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Gonzales, a beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. Paul leaves behind a legacy defined by boundless generosity, unwavering strength, and an irrepressible spirit that touched all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Olivia Gonzales of Pueblo, Colorado, and Isabella Gonzales of Pueblo, Colorado; his cherished grandchildren, Zaeviah Cooper and Aurelius Crespin; his loving parents, Teresa (Jerome) Blake of Farmington, Missouri, father, Paul (Stacy) Gonzales, Sr. of La Junta, Colorado. Sibling, Paula (R.J.) Diaz of Colorado Springs, Sherrie (Rhandy) Rains of Denver, Colorado, Martin Gonzales of La Junta, Colorado, Sabrina (Craig) Gonzales of Colorado Springs, Dominic Gonzales of Colorado Springs, Sheila Gonzales of Colorado Springs, and Alissa Gonzales of Rocky Ford, Colorado. He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he enriched.

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Aurelia Gonzales, and Rubel & Dolly Garcia, whose memories he carried in his heart.

A true Jack of all trades, Paul was continually busy—building, fixing, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. In his youth, Paul was a Boy Scout.

Fearless and daring, Paul lived life as a true Dare Devil, never backing down from a challenge and facing every adventure head-on. His silver tongue and quick wit brought smiles to those around him, and his strong will inspired admiration from family and friends alike. He was a steadfast rock for his brothers and sisters, providing guidance, strength, and unwavering support.

Paul’s memory lives on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be remembered for his humor, his resilience, and the warmth he shared so freely. Though he is gone, his spirit remains a guiding light for those fortunate enough to call him family or friend.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
