Born April 22, 1943, in Virginia to Buford and Rosie Gravley, Beuford lived a life defined by dedication, kindness, and service to others. He was a devoted family man, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Beuford is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Hurley of La Junta; his sons, James Christopher Gravley (Cindy) of Missouri, and Marion Foster (Amber) Gravley of Jermyn, Pennsylvania; his brother, Douglas (Jackie) Gravley of Ohio; his sister, Barbara Burton of Shelby, North Carolina; seven cherished grandchildren including Sarah Wake (James); and several great-grandchildren.

A proud veteran, Beuford served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a man of remarkable character—caring, loving, and ever willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His generosity and steadfast presence touched the lives of many.

Beuford spent his career as a long-haul truck driver, mastering every kind of rig that graced the highways. He took great pride in his work and found joy in the miles traveled, the stories collected, and the friendships formed along the open road.

To those who knew him, Beuford was the embodiment of compassion and strength. His legacy lives on in the lives of his family and all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he has graced. Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
