Obituary
A celebration of life for longtime Lamar, Colorado resident, Brian Nunnery, will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Paul Floyd of the High Plains Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery.Visitation for Brian will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 9:00 until the time of service at 11:00AM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Brian was born on August 17, 1953 at Lamar, Colorado to Charles P. and Shirlene (Turner) Nunnery and passed away on July 7, 2025 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 71.
He is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Darrell Colbert.Brian is survived by his wife Karen Nunnery of the family home in Lamar, children Bryce Nunnery and Jonathan Nunnery both of Lamar and Garrett (Sarah) Nunnery of Laguna Niguel, CA, grandchildren Savannah, Sienna and Tate Charles. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Mary Colbert, siblings Glenda (Ken) Roe, Debora (James) Dysinger and Bernis Nunnery as well as nephews Tim King, Josh King and Matthew Nunnery, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home Office.
