La Junta Senior Golf League Results: July 2, 2025
The La Junta Senior Golf League celebrated Independence Day with golf and CaSandra Thomas’ red, white and blue pretzel dessert. We had 49 golfers, dressed in their patriotic best. They split up into nine teams of 5 golfers and one team of 4 golfers.
We played two different games. The first game was a scramble game that limited the distance of the drive used; the second game was a scramble par three course. We also had a challenge chip on hole #5, but no one was able to make the chip.

Next week the plan is to play a normal scramble nine-hole golf game. Registration will be open from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., with teams being selected at 8:45 a.m. No players can be added after this time. Play is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time. Hope to see you there!
