Four Arkansas Valley Athletes Qualify for USATF Region 10 Championships in Arizona

**Arkansas Valley Athletes Qualify for Region 10 USATF Regionals in Mesa, Arizona**

Arkansas Valley, CO – The Arkansas Valley is proud to announce that four outstanding local athletes have qualified to compete in the prestigious Region 10 USATF (USA Track & Field) Regionals, taking place in Mesa, Arizona, from July 3-6. These talented athletes will represent our community in hopes of advancing to the Jr. Olympics in Savannah, Georgia, later this month.

**The athletes heading to Mesa for the Region 10 USATF Regionals are:**

* **Jehmiah Jackson**: Competing in the 100-meter hurdles, long jump, triple jump, and pentathlon, Jehmiah has been a powerhouse in multiple events, showcasing both versatility and skill.

* **Blaize Jackson**: A formidable competitor in both the shot put and discus, Blaize has been consistently dominating in these events, making him a strong contender for the regional titles.

* **John Smith**: Competing in the hammer throw, javelin, and shot put, John’s dynamic strength and technique will be put to the test as he seeks to qualify for the Jr. Olympics for the 2nd time. 

The athletes will be vying for a coveted spot in the Jr. Olympics, with the top 8 finishers in each event advancing to the national competition in **Savannah, Georgia**, from July 21-27. This opportunity serves as a critical stepping stone for these athletes to further their athletic careers, and we wish them all the best of luck as they represent the Arkansas Valley at this highly competitive event.

The Region 10 USATF Regionals promise to be an exciting and intense competition, bringing together the best junior athletes from across the region. These four athletes have worked tirelessly to earn their spot, and the Arkansas Valley community is proud to support them every step of the way.
