Isaiah Burquez in Custody on Multiple Charges, No Ongoing Threat to Public
The Bent County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Grand. One individual has been arrested for Attempted First Degree Murder.
At this time, there is no known threat to public safety.
Isaiah Burquez has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond. He is facing several charges, including:
• Attempted First Degree Murder
• First Degree Assault
• Menacing
• Illegal Discharge of a Firearm
• Reckless Endangerment
• Shooting from a Public Road
