La Junta Senior Golf League Results - May 27, 2025

The La Junta Senior Golf League convened on Tuesday, May 27, for nine holes of scramble golf. There were 46 senior golfers present, organized into eight teams of 5 golfers each and one team of 6 golfers. A skills test took place on the practice green, with a bucket set up for participants to attempt to throw and chip a golf ball into it; no golfer succeeded in getting the ball into the bucket. Additionally, there was a challenge chip on hole #5 and a challenge putt on hole #2, but no one succeeded in either challenge.

Next Tuesday, June 3, we will meet again at the La Junta Golf Course and play a scramble game with a putting challenge on every hole that lowers the team score when successful.  Registration will be 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. Teams are picked at 9:45 and no players can be added after that.  Call 719-469-0691 if you are going to be late for registration but will be in time to tee off. Play will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m.
