Obituary
William “Curt” Curtis Reynolds, 44, of La Junta, Colorado, he passed away suddenly on May 16, 2025 at his La Junta home. Curtis was born August 25, 1980 in Shelby, Ohio to David & Sue (Hockensmith) Reynolds.
He moved to Colorado when he was 4, and loved the farm life here. He told his Grandma & Grandpa in Ohio that he would one day grow up & have a real farm, he did just that!! The love of his family & friends was his favorite part of life. From the time he could talk he never saw a stranger. Curtis was a very hardworking & loveable person. Curtis was loved by all who knew him.
Curtis spent most of his life farming, he said he was the happiest when he was in his tractor. Curtis was also employed with Griffiths Blessing - Commercial & Multifamily Property Management. He thoroughly enjoyed working there & loved the people he worked with.
Curtis is survived by his partner of 5 years Nicole Brock; 3 children, Casey Matthew Dunnan of Lookeba, OK; Shelby Lynn Reynolds of Calhan, CO; Conner David Lee Reynolds of La Junta, CO; 2 Grandchildren, Ayala Dunnan of Lookeba, OK; Dallas Brewster of Calhan, CO; parents, Dave & Sue Reynolds of Calhan, CO; sister, Jessica Reynolds & brother-in-law, Steve Vigil of Yoder, CO; brother, Travis Reynolds & sister-in-law Samantha Reynolds of Calhan, CO; One brother Joseph Reynolds & soon to be sister-in-law Jessica Chambers of Hugo, CO; and grandmother, Mary Ruth Reynolds of Watkins, CO. Curtis is also survived by several nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins from Ohio to Kentucky to Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbur & Jennie Hockensmith of Ohio; Willam B. Reynolds of Watkins, CO; and uncle, Lawrence D. Wilfong of Mansfield, Ohio.

Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Roosters Club.;19184 County Road 78; Calhan, Colorado 80808, with Pastor Daniel Blackwell of Victorious Church of Swink, Colorado officiating.
