3rd Annual Fort Lyon Recovery Walk Set for May 9: “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” to Raise Awareness and Support for Recovery

In a collaborative effort, we are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Fort Lyon Recovery Walk event will be taking place this year on Friday, May 09 at 9:00AM at the Parade Ground on the Fort Lyon campus (30999 CO RD 15, Las Animas).

Fort Lyon is graciously hosting this year’s Recovery Walk as a come one, come all event that is open to anyone that wishes to attend.  In addition to the Recovery Walk, there will also be food, music, games and vendors.  There is no cost to attend.

The theme of this year’s event is “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” and is being done in the spirit of raising awareness and to show solidarity and support for people in recovery.

For any that have interest in setting up a table and having a presence at the event, please reach out to me at cmenges@oterogov.org so that I can provide you a vendor registration form.  Note that anyone wishing to set up a display will need to supply all materials including tables, chairs, supplies needed, etc.
