Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Crystal Autry will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene in La Junta, Colorado at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025 with JJ Autry and Ryan Hemphill officiating. Burial will follow at the Higbee Cemetery in Higbee, Colorado. There will be no visitation because cremation was chosen. Crystal was born on June 8, 1980 in Longmont, Colorado and passed away on April 17th, 2025 at the age of 44 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Crystal was proceeded in death by her brother, Ryan Jay Platt, her dad, Rodney Platt, her grandparents, Richard Jay Platt and Reva Platt & Warren and Ina Bell Campbell, grandpa, Don Ming, grandparents-in-law, Bub Autry, Carol Autry, and Tommy Like.

Crystal is survived by her husband of 25 years, JJ Autry of the family home; daughter, Aspen Autry of the family home; son, Joe (Destiny) Autry of Lamar, Colorado; parents, John and Beverly Ming of Pritchett, Colorado; grandmother, Lolly Ming of Pritchett, Colorado; father & mother-in-law, Joe Bob & Robin Autry of Buena Vista; grandmother-in-law, Marian Like of Buena Vista; brother-in-law, Jaxon & Kate Autry of Holcomb, KS; nephews, Cooper Autry, Baylor Autry, and her niece, Josser Autry; brother-in-law, Jason Autry of Vancouver, WA; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Platt; nephew, Adam Platt; niece, Delaney Platt; nephews, Wyatt Platt, and Shiloh Platt; along with many other family and friends.
