Rocky Ford Fire Dept Responds to Shed, Multiple Vehicle Fire

On April 5 at 7:57 AM Rocky Ford Fire Department was called to an address off of County Road 22 for reports of a shed on fire, surrounded by cars.

Engine 4 and Tanker 2 went enroute shortly after page. RFFD arrived first on scene and gave a matching size up to the report.

Engine 4 arrived on scene to a small shed fully involved, as well as (3) passenger vehicles. Engine 4 staged on the East side of the fire.

Captain Dickinson and Engineer Leoffler Donned SCBA's and PPE then deployed (1) 1 3/4" Attack line.

Knockdown was immediately achieved, with the (1) line and personnel. Prior to overhaul Tanker 2 was staged on the East Side of Engine 4 and a 2 1/2" line was placed for water supply from Tanker (2) to Engine 4.

No further resources were needed or requested.

A weather report was requested from dispatch, prior to clearing the scene. Ignition source was undetermined following overhaul.

No injuries, Hazmat or further resources were needed.

All assignments including extinguishment was accomplished with the (5) responders on scene.

All units clear 0900
