Obituary

Wanda Lee Parker, 89, of Fowler passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025 at Fowler Healthcare Center. She was born January 7,1936 in Pueblo to Raymond and Edith Clarke of Beulah, Colorado.

Wanda attended school in Beulah, until the 9th grade when her family moved to Denver. Upon graduation for Denver West High School in 1965, she and her friend Bell Hill moved to Raton, New Mexico where she met her spouse Howard Parker, married in 1965 and moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma. After Howard’s passing in 1993 Wanda met up with old Beulah school friend Joe Colletti and moved to Fowler in 1994. From 1994 on Wanda continued life as a homemaker and assisted James and Susan Benesch raise their children Kyle and Jessica Benesch for many years. She never missed school, volleyball, basketball or rodeo events. She also remained very close to her family in Penrose and Beulah, Colorado. Wanda’s love for her family and friends was a huge part of her life and will be missed by all.

Wanda is survived by James (Susan), Kyle (Beverly) and Jessica Benesch of Fowler, CO; Brian (Sudzy), Garrett (Sydney), Clayton (Keely) Benesch of Penrose, CO; Sister-in-law Leila Clarke of Beulah, CO; Tim (Karen and children) Clarke of Beulah, CO; Tammy (Mike) McCullah of Beulah, CO; Terri (Marco & sons) Valenzuela of Pueblo, CO; Michael and Beatrice Parker in Enid, OK. As well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, spouse Howard Parker, partner Joe Colletti, sisters Shirley McGee, Martha Benesch, and Radell Garbisco and brothers Norman and Darrell Clake.

At Wanda’s request their will be no services. Bellwood Ustick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
