Pueblo Zoo Assures Community: Despite Budget Constraints, Zoo Remains Open and Committed to Mission
Recent reports have suggested that the Pueblo Zoo may be at risk of closing due to budget cuts. We want to reassure our community that this is not the case. While we are facing financial constraints due to reduced funding, our doors remain open, and we are committed to providing exceptional care for our animals and a valuable experience for our guests.
Like many organizations, we must be mindful of our budget and ensure that our operations remain sustainable. This means being resourceful, focusing on our most impactful programs, and relying on our incredible community for support. Events like our upcoming Brew at the Zoo, Zoofari, and other initiatives will be essential in helping us continue our mission.
