Otero County Sheriff's Office Appoints Enrique 'Rick' Guzman as New Undersheriff

Please join us in congratulating Enrique "Rick" Guzman as the New Undersheriff for the Otero County Sheriff's Office. 

Guzman was appointed by Sheriff Mobley into the position from his Sergeant position in Patrol.  He has served the Sheriff's Office in that capacity with distinction and combined with his approximately 18 years of policing experience, his good nature, and high level of professionalism, was a good fit.  We look forward to his leadership and are proud to have him.  

It will be tough to try to fill the shoes of our outgoing Undersheriff, Matt Wallace, who I am excited to work with in his new position as the Police Chief in Rocky Ford.  The Valley is blessed to have you both as law enforcement leaders!
