Obituary

Anthony “Ponce” Rangel of La Junta passed away in his home on December 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Delfa Marinelarena on September 11, 1959, in La Junta, Colorado.

Anthony enjoyed helping people through his work as a CNA and Dialysis Technician. He loved to tease and bring smiles to his patients. His true passion was Officiating. He loved being a part of every sport he officiated, especially Softball.

He found the most joy in spending time with his family and listening to music. His favorite pastime was watching sports, whether he was watching his children play high school sports, Texas Tech Football and Basketball, OU Softball, the Denver Nuggets or the Denver Broncos.

Our family requests that you wear your favorite Colorado sports team clothing or colors for his services.
