Lamar Fire Dept VS Shed Fire - April 15, 2024
On 4/15/24 at 1727 Lamar Fire was dispatched for a reported shed on fire in the area of Beech and 7th. Engine 6 and Engine 5 arrived on scene and found a shed fully involved with exposures on the East and West side of the fire. F-3 arrived on scene and established command.
Engine 6 staged on side B of the house and Engine 5 staged on side A. Truck 1 arrived on scene and established supply line to Engine 6.
F-3 called for a second tone on Lamar Fire for a working structure fire. Rescue 1, Med 6, and FRU 1 arrived on scene and was assigned to fire attack with Engine 6.
All crews extinguished the fire while providing exposure protection of an apartment building and a single story residence.
The fire was contained within 20 minutes and the crews began mop up. All units were cleared on the scene and returned to full service at approximately 1830.
