     The La Junta Senior Golf League had 37 members playing a special scramble match on July 28. Before play began, each golfer had to choose only three clubs to play the nine holes.  The challenge putt on hole #5 was won by Albert Davis, Carl Anderson, Fred Grantham, and John Lockhart.

     Next week will be a regular scramble with a challenge on the practice green to lower the team score.  Registration will be open from 8:00 a.m.to 8:30 a.m., with teams being picked at 8:45 a.m.; no players can be added after this time. Play is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
