La Junta Police Department Announces Police in the Park

The La Junta Police Department invites the community to attend Police in the Park on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at City Park in La Junta.

The free family-friendly event will feature games, food, prizes, K9 demonstrations, a bounce house, and a Nerf shoot house. Community members are encouraged to meet local officers and enjoy an evening of fun and connection.

Police in the Park aims to build stronger relationships between law enforcement and the community.
