Obituary

Emilio “Mills” Albert Archuleta was born on Sept 23, 2002, in Thornton CO, to Kristin Anaya and Ugene “Gene” Archuleta, was called home unexpectedly on May 10, 2022.

Throughout his life Mills was a loving son who enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and fiancé. Stubborn and big hearted he cherished the relationships with those closes to him and shared a special bond with his dog Panda. Growing up he enjoyed his Papa showing him how to fish. He also enjoyed 4 wheeling and having a race night with the boys “in his Honda.” Taking over the Diamond Dog Bullies and being a part of the Bully world held a special place in his heart. But he also enjoyed every minute he could with his fiancé, brothers, sisters and his nephew “Chooch”.

His bond with his Nana was unmatched. But Mills biggest love was his mother, who he has demonstrated so beautifully with the numerous acts of service and love he always performed for her whenever he got a chance. He had an undying loyalty for his father that never ceased to amaze. He also had a smile that would light up the world and a heart that was made of gold. His biggest goals in life were to make people proud and bring joy to their faces and hearts. We know that Mills will always and forever be with us and his last thoughts are, “Don’t worry every little thing is going to be alright.”

He is survived by his father, Loyd Archuleta of Commerce City, CO; mother, Kristen (Anthony Ferrell) Anaya of Ordway; brother, Elijah Archuleta of Rocky Ford; sisters, Mariah Archuleta and Trinity Mondragon; grandparents, Debbie (Jerry) Roth of Commerce City, CO; Toby Archuleta of Rocky Ford; Lynette Anaya of Rocky Ford; Trina (Tommy) Flores; Fiancée, Dasia Martinez of Crowley, CO; nephew, Eladio “Chooch” Mondragon. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Anaya; great-grandmothers, Claudia Carlson, Dee Lee and Patricia Roth; uncles, Chucky Lee and Mitchell Lee “Birthday Buddies”.

Memorial service will be May 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
