The Ark Valley Kitchen of Kindness About Us statement from their Facebook Page reads: "Kitchen of Kindness is a coalition of church members and concerned citizens in the La Junta CO area. We are dedicated to the goal of providing one hot meal a day to those in need. Our meals will be offered in a safe drug free environment."
Their next event is on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Santa Fe Plaza in La Junta at 5 pm.
The Kitchen of Kindness is seeking volunteers
Looking for a way to help others?
Do you have or want to acquire experience in cooking meals and customer service?
If yes, then join our team of fun, dedicated and generous people!
Tasks will include: working with standard kitchen equipment, assisting the public, and may include some lifting of food items, pots/pans, etc.
