Per Esther’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no viewing.

A private family memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Esther Vaca will be held at the Peacock Family Chapel at a later date.

Esther was born on January 11, 1938 at Burlington, Texas to Diego and Gregoria (Alvarez) Vaca and passed away on June 27, 2026 at the Memorial Central Hospital with her family by her side at the age of 88.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Esther either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
