La Junta Senior Golf League Announces June 16 Scramble Results and Upcoming Events

La Junta Senior Golf League - Tuesday, June 16, 2026

The La Junta Senior Golf League played a golf string game using a scramble format on June 16.  The 44 golfers made nine teams.  There were two challenge chips (holes #2 and #6), but no one was able to complete the task.  Douglas Golding made the challenge putt on hole #9.

Mark your calendar for June 30 to celebrate July 4 as CaSandra Thomas will bring a special dessert.

Our league tee-off time is now 9:00 a.m.  Next Tuesday, June 23, we will play a regular scramble with a putting challenge to lower the team score. Registration will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with teams being picked at 8:45 a.m. No players can be added after this time. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
