Multi-Agency Drug Raid in Rocky Ford Leads to Meth, Fentanyl and Firearm Seizure
On May 6th, the Rocky Ford Police Department, supported by the Otero County Sheriff's Office, Crowley County Sheriff's Office and La Junta Police Department, executed a search warrant in the 950 block of Catalpa.
Officers recovered a felony amount of methamphetamine, a small amount of fentanyl and a firearm. One person was arrested and booked into the Otero County Jail on drug related charges. Another person was arrested on an unrelated warrant. The investigation into the drug activity is ongoing. The people who were arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Law Enforcement is working together to address the drug problems in Rocky Ford and surrounding communities.
