CSP Reports on Otero County Road CC Fatal Rollover Crash
Colorado State Patrol Troopers Responded to a crash on Otero County Rd CC at 11:18 AM on April 26, 2024.
According to the Colorado State Patrol Public Information Officer, the crash occurred on Otero County Road CC 3/10 of a mile east of Otero County Road 21.
The driver of the single vehicle involved in the crash was a 77 year old female of Rocky Ford, Colorado. The driver was not wearing a safety restraint, the CSP PIO said.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the vehicle was traveling westbound on County Rd CC and lost contol traveling over the paved, then gravel, then paved road surface striking a guardrail. The vehicle rolled one and three-quarter times.
Speed and change in road surface are being investigated as factors, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
